Description
We are looking for a skilled Sr. Software Engineer with deep understanding of a technical system, leading the evolution of its architecture as well as contributing infrastructure code for it in the service of other teams and systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of backend system architecture and experience optimizing and working with large databases. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across teams, and demonstrate creativity in solving tough problems with a solid focus on the customer experience. Adaptability, innovation, and a passion for backend systems are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
•
Build and maintain scalable backend services and infrastructure components used in production at high scale
•
Design and implement improvements related to availability, performance, resiliency, and automation
•
Troubleshoot production issues using strong debugging practices, metrics, logs, and traces
•
Contribute to on-call rotations and help improve operational excellence through runbooks and tooling
•
Work closely with cross-functional engineering partners to deliver features safely and incrementally
•
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvements of engineering practices
Minimum qualifications
•
BS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
•
5+ years experience in a software engineering role
•
