Description of Work
This position is classified as a Correction Enterprises Supervisor III. This position is located at the Nash Print Plant inside Nash Correctional Institution, specifically in the area of Bindery & Finishing. The applicant must have the technical and mechanical knowledge to operate, troubleshoot and train on production equipment. This includes cutting, folding, collating, binding, and finishing products manufactured within the facility, as well as preparing the finished products for delivery. This position will supervise and train offender workers in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a variety of printing equipment. The applicant must be able to demonstrate specific knowledge of printing production equipment in offset printing and/or letterpress printing.
The is a Certified position through the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission, which means the selected candidate will also be accountable for the custody and supervision of inmates assigned to the plant. Duties include patrolling the plant and supervising production operations while ensuring the care, custody, and control of inmates in accordance with department policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $43,267 - $75,718
